Myanmar: Shan down Yangon in final
Shan United secured the MNL League Cup title on Wednesday after they defeated Yangon United 1-0 in the final held at the Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon. Ye Yint Aung scored the only goal of the game in the 37th minute to help the club claim their first cup triumph since 2017.
Shan also won the Myanmar National League last season and will look to defend their title when the new season kicks off on July 6.
Singapore: Sailors post resounding win
Lion City Sailors recorded a statement 7-1 win against defending champions Albirex Niigata (S) on Sunday to maintain their two-point lead at the top of the Singapore Premier League, with Tampines Rovers sitting in second position after four rounds of the new season.

Third-placed Geylang International had a 3-1 lead over DPMM FC with 13 minutes remaining, but goals from Hakeme Yazid Said and Julio Cruz helped the Brunei Darussalam-based side salvage a point. Hougang United and Balestier Khalsa also shared the spoils in a 3-3 draw while Young Lions posted their second straight win by defeating Tanjong Pagar United 3-2.
Malaysia: Johor win four out of four
Heberty struck a hat-trick as defending champions Johor Darul Ta’zim maintained their perfect start to the Malaysia Super League campaign with a 3-0 win against Sri Pahang on Saturday. Selangor are three points behind the Southern Tigers after Ronnie Fernandez’s brace gave them a 2-1 win against Perak on Sunday.

Third-placed Terengganu were held to a 1-1 draw by Kuching City while Kedah Darul Aman posted their second win from four matches by defeating Penang 1-0. Kuala Lumpur City registered their first win of the season by overcoming Negeri Sembilan 3-0 and Kelantan Darul Naim opened their account for the season with a 1-0 defeat of PDRM.
Vietnam: Nam Dinh stay four points clear
Rafaelson bagged a 94th-minute winner as Nam Dinh edged Hong Linh Ha Tinh 1-0 on Thursday to maintain their four-point lead at the top of the V.League 1. Bin Dinh are Nam Dinh’s closest challengers after Alan’s hat-trick helped them beat third-placed Hanoi FC 4-2 as Hai Phong, in fourth place, also were beaten 5-1 by Cong An Hanoi.

Viettel and Ho Chi Minh City played out a goalless stalemate while Thanh Hoa and Khanh Hoa also settled for a 1-1 draw on Wednesday. Hoang Anh Gia Lai moved three points clear of relegation after a 1-0 defeat of Becamex Binh Duong with second-from-bottom Song Lam Nghe An suffering a 4-2 loss at the hands of Quang Nam.
Philippines: Cebu, Stallions keep up chase
Defending champions Kaya FC-Iloilo maintained their unbeaten start to the season by defeating the Philippine Army 6-0 on Saturday for their 10th win from 11 matches. Cebu FC trail the leaders by one point after their 7-0 win against Manila Montet while Stallion Laguna defeated Maharlika Taguig 3-0 to stay two points off the top in third.
Elsewhere in the Philippines, Davao Aguilas overcame Tuloy 3-1, United City beat Mendiola FC 1991 3-0, One Taguig posted a commanding 7-1 win against Loyola and Manila Digger recorded a narrow 2-1 win over Philippine Air Force.
