The FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup™ is set to return, two years after the 2022 edition was won by Spain.
La Rojita won their first title in the category after a 3-1 victory over Japan in the final, thanks in no small part to the fantastic Salma Paralluelo, who would go on to become world champion with the senior side at Australia & New Zealand 2023.
For the 2024 edition, the tournament will grow from 16 to 24 teams following the decision of the FIFA Council on 4 October to expand the number of participants.
