Saudi Arabia: Al Hilal keep comfortable lead intact
Al Hilal continued to chart their way to claim their 19th league title with a 2-1 win over Al Tai, with Al Wehda their next opponents on Friday.
Al Nassr rebounded from their 3-0 defeat to Al Hilal on Matchday 15 to beat Al Riyadh 4-1, with the Riyadh-based side to meet Al Ettifaq next on December 23.
Al Ahli Saudi remained third despite dropping points in a goalless draw with Al Raed and will look to bounce back when they face Al Fayha next, while Al Taawoun continued to impress with a 4-1 win over Al Fayha.
Defending champions Al Ittihad are fifth in the standings after suffering a 3-1 defeat to Damac. They entertain Al Raed next on December 24.
