Just like it was in the AFC U20 Women\u2019s Asian Cup\u2122 Uzbekistan 2024 in March, DPR Korea are showing the fruits of their labour in youth women\u2019s football with yet another final appearance with head coach Song Sung Gwon crediting it to meticulous planning.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are very happy to be in the final and we will do our best to become champions,\u201d said Song. \u201cThe whole country is focusing on the development of women\u2019s football and I think we are on the right track. <\/p>\n
\u201cWe are paying attention to developing the game very systematically and strategically according to the various age groups and education systems.\u201d<\/p>\n
Song has prior experience at this level, having guided DPR Korea to the AFC U-16 Women\u2019s Championship 2017 title and is hoping his experience and the team\u2019s preparations since the semi-final win over China PR will take them over the line.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur players played very well until the semi-final and they were very good and determined to win to make the final. <\/p>\n
