The Men’s Olympic Football Tournament will welcome 16 teams from all confederations at Paris 2024. Host nation France and eleven other teams have already qualified, with only the three Asian representatives and an AFC-CAF play-off, in which another Asian team or an African team can qualify, still to be confirmed.<\/p>\n
The draw for the tournament will be made on 20 March, with the teams divided into four groups of four nations. The Men’s Olympic Football Tournament will begin on 24 July, a day before the Women’s Olympic Football Tournament, and two days prior to the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.<\/p>\n

\nThe confederation’s qualifying tournament – the 2024 AFC U-23 Asian Cup – concludes on 3 May. The three best teams will qualify for the Olympic Games, while the fourth-placed team will face Guinea in the AFC-CAF play-offs.<\/p>\n
