The Best FIFA Football Awards\u2122 \u06f2\u06f0\u06f2\u06f3, honouring the outstanding members of the world\u2019s most popular sport, will take place on 15 January 2024 in London.<\/p>\n
The nominees for The Best FIFA Women\u2019s Player, The Best FIFA Men\u2019s Player, The Best FIFA Women\u2019s Coach, The Best FIFA Men\u2019s Coach, The Best FIFA Women\u2019s Goalkeeper, The Best FIFA Men\u2019s Goalkeeper, The FIFA Pusk\u00e1s Award and The FIFA Fan Award were announced in September 2023.<\/p>\n
From these shortlists, three finalists in the majority of categories will be selected by an international jury comprising of four groups: national team coaches, national team captains, football journalists, and fans who voted on FIFA\u2019s official website, with over one million fan votes recorded worldwide.<\/p>\n
Selections from the four voting groups \u2013 coaches, captains, journalists, and fans \u2013 each count for 25 per cent of the total vote, irrespective of the number of voters from each group, with the finalists due to be announced via FIFA’s digital platforms over the coming weeks, and the winners then crowned at a glittering ceremony in London on 15 January 2024.<\/p>\n
The FIFA Pusk\u00e1s Award finalists are determined by a combination of fan votes and expert panelists, while the The FIFA Fan Award winner is decided solely by fan voting on FIFA.com from the initial list of three nominees.<\/p>\n
The Best FIFA Football Awards reward the standout candidates in each field, regardless of championship or nationality, for their respective achievements during the designated qualifying period. They not only represent the game\u2019s highest honour for coaches and players, but are a celebration in which football fans are recognised.<\/p>\n
January’s event will mark the third time that FIFA has held The Best FIFA Football Awards in London, after the 2017 and 2018 award ceremonies were staged in the city.The qualifying period for the women\u2019s awards \u2013 The Best Women\u2019s Player, The Best Women\u2019s Coach and The Best Women\u2019s Goalkeeper \u2013 was from 1 August 2022 to 20 August 2023, the date of the FIFA Women\u2019s World Cup Final.<\/p>\n
For the men\u2019s awards \u2013 The Best Men\u2019s Player, The Best Men\u2019s Coach and The Best Men\u2019s Goalkeeper \u2013 the qualifying period was between 19 December 2022 and 20 August 2023.<\/p>\n
